Plano genocida é antigo
Artigo de Michel Chossudovsky no site resistir.info dá conta de que a "Operação chumbo fundido", faz parte de um plano genocida bem maior e vem sendo gestado pelo exército e servições secretos sionistas ao menos desde 2001, quando Ariel Sharon gerenciava o Estado Fascista de Israel.
Todo o processo veio sendo implementado com vistas a retirar os assentamentos judeus de Gaza para evitar vítimas judias durante as operações. Na ocasião, a retirada dos assentamentos foi comemorada como vitória pelos palestinos.
O plano original visava ainda a divisão da Faixa de Gaza em dois pedaços com “governos” diferentes, que negociariam individualmente com o Estado sionista. Um outro objetivo é ainda impedir que os palestinos prossigam com sua vida econômica, fiquem aprisionados em suas cidades e aldeias e causar tal pânico que estimule a emigração palestina, enfraquecendo a resistência a futuras expulsões.
Na previsão do número de vítimas, os cínicos estrategistas previam “centenas” de mortos judeus e “milhares” de palestinos, o que evidencia como os sionistas tratam as vítimas civis.
O sinistro papel de Abbas
Informações do Palestinian Information Center, também publicadas pelo site resistir.info revelam que Mahmoud Abbas tinha conhecimento prévio da data do ataque à Faixa de Gaza e dias antes deixou as terras palestinas através da Arábia Saudita. Além disso, Abbas teria deixado ordens para que fosse organizado um novo governo palestino para a Faixa de Gaza para quando o Hamas fosse derrubado. Há ainda informações de que Nimir Hammad, um assessor direto de Abbas, teria falado com Amos Gillad, coordenador israelense das operações nos territórios ocupados e conselheiro político do ministro da Guerra Ehud Barak, expressando a opinião de Abbas de que “que a Autoridade Palestina acredita que Israel em o direito de atacar e liquidar o Hamas mas pedia para centrar os seus ataques sobre as sedes e escritórios do Hamas e tanto quanto possível evitar alvo civis”.
Ajuda humanitária bloqueada no Egito
Fontes da Faixa de Gaza declararam que toneladas de alimentos e medicamentos destinados por países árabes e de outros continentes estão armazenados na cidade egípcia de Al Areesh, sem chegar ao destino porque as autoridades egípcias estão deliberadamente atrasando o transporte.
O gerente semicolonial do Egito, Hosni Mubarak declarou que não permitiria a passagem dos caminhões pela passagem de Rafah, o que deixa como opção a entrada pelo território de Israel, o que evidentemente impossibilita a chegada da ajuda internacional.
Essa atitude do Estado egípcio visa estrangular ainda mais a Faixa de Gaza e enfraquecer o Hamas, não importando que toda a população de Gaza pereça nessa situação.

Disregarding the opinion of various world leaders, the worldwide people's protests, international law including the UN Charter and even its own constitution, the US government is hell bent on raining war and devastation on Iraq
On a world scale and in the long term, the US wants to impose PAX AMERICANA .
By using its self-serving doctrines of pre-emptive strike, regime change and unilaterism, the US invaded Afghanistan and has targetted other alleged security threats, namely Iraq and North Korea, and other alleged terrorists worldwide.. The US is deploying more forward forces and holding more military trainings and joint exercises purportedly to protect its national interest and to decisively win multiple, simultaneous major theater wars abroad.
The Asia Pacific region in particular, with its vast landmass and sea territory brimming with huge economic and geopolitical value, remains strategically important to the US.. Without a strong projection of power in this region via the US-Japan security alliance and other bilateral and multilateral military treaties and agreements with other countries, the US drive for world hegemony and dominance will not prevail.
Throughout Asia, The US has been aggressively forging status of forces agreements, access agreements, landing rights, logistics arrangements and the like, coupled with a never ending stream of joint military trainings and exercises.
Among the US's military objectives are the containment of China as a potential peer rival power and deterring the growth of other threats to US hegemony, including progressive and revolutionary movements and independent regimes. It is therefore part of US strategy to intervene and initiate "regime change" in Asian countries that resist US militarist, political and economic impositions.

The US has labeled three Asian countries - Iraq, Iran and North Korea - as the "axis of evil."
In Southeast Asia, the US has declared the Philippines as the "second front" of its borderless war. Thousands of US troops have been deployed to the Southern Philippines since December 2001, ostensibly to give "anti-terrorist training", "assistance" and "advise" to Philippine troops. Just like in the Vietnam war, the bogey of terrorism and communism is being used as a pretext for direct US military aggression and power projection in the region.
Once the US establishes the Philippines as its foothold in region, the US will have a jump-off point for its interventionist activities in the Muslim-dominated countries of Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei and elsewhere in Asia.
In South Korea and Japan, the US stubbornly insists on maintaining its military bases despite the strong public clamor to have them removed. Moreover, the US has been fully supportive of a more aggressive and outward-looking Japanese Self Defense Forces, which can readily be transformed into an offensive force to support US military adventures in Asia .
These moves by the US, especially in the light of the impending invasion of Iraq, certainly bodes ill for the peoples of the Asia Pacific region. The US bases and military forces in Asia are slated to play a major role in the impending war on Iraq. Furthermore, what happens in Iraq will most likely set the precedent for increasing US unilaterism and aggression in Asia and the whole world. There is an urgent need to oppose this threat to world peace.
Thus, on April 9, we propose that the peoples of Asia and the Pacific hold simultaneous demonstrations and other forms of protest to send the strongest message across the oceans to George W. Bush that WE OPPOSE THE US WAR ON IRAQ AND US INTERFERENCE AND ARMED INTERVENTION IN ASIA.
We in the Asia-Pacific region continue to be inspired by the huge demonstrations of February 15, where 30 million people rose up in mass protest in more than 600 cities and towns all over the world, including: Sydney, Australia - 250,000; India - 200,000; Tokyo - 25,000; New Zealand - 13,000; Manila - 5, 000; Taipei - 2,000.
Bigger and more frequent demonstrations are being held in Indonesia, the Philippines, Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, Pakistan, India and other Asian countries.
Let us unite these efforts in one coordinated action on April 9.
Let us not be deterred by the US Empire's bullying and evil machinations. Let us struggle for peace! Oppose the US war on Iraq and US interference and armed intervention in Asia! US troops, out of Asia!

Doce reglas infalibles para la redacción de noticias sobre Oriente Próximo en los grandes medios de comunicación
1) En Oriente Próximo son siempre los árabes quienes atacan primero, y siempre es Israel quien se defiende. Esa defensa se llama “represalia”.
2) Ni árabes, ni palestinos ni libaneses tienen derecho a matar civiles. A eso se le llama “terrorismo”.
3) Israel tiene derecho a matar civiles. Eso se llama “legítima defensa”.
4) Cuando Israel mata civiles en masa, las potencias occidentales piden que lo haga con mayor comedimiento. Eso se llama “reacción de la comunidad internacional”.
5) Ni palestinos ni libaneses tienen derecho a capturar soldados israelíes dentro de instalaciones militares con centinelas y puestos de combate. A eso hay que llamarlo “secuestro de personas indefensas”.
6) Israel tiene derecho a secuestrar a cualquiera hora y en cualquier lugar a cuantos palestinos y libaneses se le antoje. Su cifra actual ronda los 10 mil, 300 de los cuales son niños y mil, mujeres. No se precisa prueba alguna de culpabilidad. Israel tiene derecho a mantener secuestrados presos indefinidamente, ya sean autoridades democráticamente elegidas por los palestinos. A eso se le llama “encarcelamiento de terroristas”.
7) Cuando se menciona la palabra “Hezbollah”, es obligatorio añadir en la misma frase “apoyados y financiados por Siria y por Irán”.
8) Cuando se menciona “Israel”, está terminantemente prohibido añadir: “apoyados y financiados por los EEUU”. Eso podría dar la impresión de que el conflicto es desigual y de que la existencia de Israel no corre peligro.
9) En informaciones sobre Israel, hay que evitar siempre que aparezcan las siguientes locuciones: “Territorios ocupados”, “Resoluciones de la ONU”, “Violaciones de los Derechos Humanos” y “Convención de Ginebra”.
10) Los palestinos, lo mismo que los libaneses, son siempre “cobardes” que se esconden entre una población civil que “no los quiere”. Si duermen en casa con sus familias, eso tiene un nombre: “cobardía”. Israel tiene derecho a aniquilar con bombas y misiles los barrios donde duermen. A eso se le llama “acción quirúrgica de alta precisión”.
11) Los israelíes hablan mejor inglés, francés, castellano o portugués que los árabes. Por eso merecen ser entrevistados con mayor frecuencia y tener más oportunidades que los árabes para explicar al gran público las presentes reglas de redacción (de la 1 a la 10). A eso se le llama “neutralidad periodística”.
12) Todas las personas que no están de acuerdo con las sobredichas Reglas, son, y así debe hacerse constar, “terroristas antisemitas de alta peligrosidad”.
